Engaging Students in History and Finance: Mrs. Monique Reynolds talks to her students during a world history lesson. With a love for the culture, Courtois spreads the cultural facts, through her students. Every two years, the French club celebrate the culture on a trip to paris, amongst other places such as, Scotland, London, and Europe. The French club, helps students explore endless possibilities, furthering their educational experience. Courtois says, “In my 24 years of teaching, my favorite part has been being able to see the reactions of my students as they explore on the trips.” “I advise students to travel, learn another language, and just travel. Sliwinski has played volleyball for four years, and as a defensive specialist, she anticipates the ball's trajectory and executes quick, accurate digs to set up plays for her team. Between The Lines: The stands are packed, the crowd is loud, and the Bulldogs Fight hard under the lights tonight. The JV team shows grit and teamwork from the first whistle to the last play tonight The team has been practicing hard all week, running drills, studying plays, and pushing each other to improve, which pays off on the field tonight. Sophomore lineman Mark Perry has been playing football for nine years and takes on both sides of the line. “Playing both sides of the line is tough, but it helps me understand the game better. I know what the defense is trying to do and what the offense needs from me,” Perry says. His teammate and brother, Alex Perry, credits their coaches for the lessons that go beyond football. “The coaches always push us to focus on the little details. It’s not just about strength; it’s about footwork, timing, and being disciplined every play,” he said. Many tenth graders take chemistry class because it’s an honors course, but they later find out how fun it can actually be.
