JV Girls Soccer Face Satellite by Lily Hock
Soccer at Melbourne High School is more than just a game. The JV girls faced Satellite High School on Tuesday, and the match ended 1-1. The game was close, competitive, and exciting, with both teams showing great teamwork on the field.
Madison Hartley, who plays midfield, has been playing soccer for five years. “I like traveling to games and staying in hotels the most,” Hartley said. The team practiced four days a week to prepare and get ready with running drills and skill practices. “No matter how much you prepare, mistakes still happen, but that’s part of the game,” Hartley said.
Hartley said her favorite part was seeing her friends on the other team and the sunset. She also learned a lot about teamwork and discipline this season through practices and games. The JV girls soccer team worked hard and competed in this game against Satellite high school and the whole season.
