Students Bond Through Pumpkin Carving by Chloe Strong
Football and Soccer players did a pumpkin carving activity, students worked together to create fun and creative designs. Groups focused on teamwork and creativity as they brought their ideas to life. Junior Aisling O'Donnell said, “We made a cute face on the pumpkin with its tongue out and it has two hands sticking out.” The event encouraged students to express themselves artistically while enjoying a festive fall tradition.
Students enjoyed not only the creative aspect of carving but also the shared experience with their classmates. The activity allowed everyone to see different ideas come to life and appreciate each group’s unique designs. O'Donnell said, “My favorite part of carving was seeing what everyone else was doing and their ideas and also carving the pumpkin was fun and helped us all bond together.” Overall, the event brought students closer and created lasting memories through teamwork and creativity.
