The Charmingly Cheerful Chorus Concert by Aiden Kehayias
Music is an important part of everyone's life. While it may not be a big part of other high schools, it is certainly the cornerstone of Melbourne High School’s programs. On October 20th, 2025, the hard work of the Chorus program was put on stage for all to see. At the concert was Central Middle School’s Chorus program, alongside Hoover Middle and our program.
Drew Smith, a junior in the Chorus program had nothing but positive things to say about our program. Drew stated when asked about the quality of the program that “I feel it’s a really great program with some really great people”. Smith also said “I feel it went really well.” Another Chorus member, Jillian Kehayias said “It was a really good experience” and went on to recommend Chorus as a good program. While there were many good songs throughout the concert, covered by each of the schools, the stand out song to Kehayias was “Cover me with the night” as it also was for many others.
Chorus, along with the other musical programs here at Melbourne High School, are very important. Especially to those involved. These concerts give the students and staff involved in the program to show how far they have come in their musical talents and abilities to everyone. The concert was an important milestone for the journey of these students.
