Relaxing Rest after Rigorous Testing: Dominic Ciano and Dusk Bugayong at their designated lunch, finally getting an opportunity to look back and catch up after they completed their Servsafe exam. Ciano enjoyed his lunch, while Bugayong took the opportunity to reflect on anything he missed on the exam during Lunch B. “Saying that the test is hard or difficult is more subjective to the person ‘cause depending on how you study or how you retain information, it can be easy for someone and hard for others. It also depends on the question” said Ciano and, “Make sure you’re studying up for these exams—It helps out alot.” said Bugayong on their major thoughts for the exam. Study Up for ServSafe! by Tyler Ferreira Alves Hill

How important is studying, really? Ask anyone and you’ll likely get an overall answer that it is! Now whether they’re objectively right or wrong is a lengthy conversation that will take awhile—But what someone can ensure is that those who do study, typically give their efforts much praise; The Servsafe exam, for those participating in the food courses here at Melbourne High school is one of the exemplary tests that truly showed how well studying up can work for its students such as with seniors Dominic Ciano and Dusk Bugayong

The exam stood as a test for students to prove their knowledge on how to manage food and kitchen equipment safely. Hosted on October 22nd at the Media Center in the morning, Students from their classes arrived and took the exam. Long, as is expected from these exams, Ciano and Bugayong both attested to the usefulness of their studying after all was done. “I studied and I did my best to remember what I was taught, it definitely helped—Probably should’ve studied more so I wouldn’t be too confused on any of the questions.” Ciano said, and Bugayong on his experience said, “I prepared by studying a little bit on my old notes. I had to review for about a week, and I think it helped out a lot with the questions.”

Unsurprisingly, the study was successful in its purpose. Remember! It's better to be safe than sorry; Better to be prepared for the worst than not prepared at all; And to not have come to an important exam with your pants down. So, best to have made sure you know what you’ve researched and to keep that beltbuckle extra tight once that next test comes on rolling in.
