
I attended the PIE, Partners in Education, awards where we nominated Emma Lafex from Equitable Advisors as our business partner of the year. While she did not win for the district, we are the real winners for having her as a partner in education! Thank you, Emma!


End of the Year wrap up! We have so much going on this time of the year! Our athletes were honored at the board meeting for their State Championships, JROTC had a wonderful awards banquet, we hosted the 1st annual Enlistment ceremony, we had 4 students honored with the new Legacy Educators award from the district, members of our Track team went to state and WON!!, the seniors had a blast with their senior prank, and our wonderful senior parents put on a senior breakfast for the class of 2025 before graduation practice. We are closing in on the finish line and looking forward to graduation on Friday!











Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We kicked off the week with free coffee courtesy of the Viera Company! The week has been filled with breakfast, lunch, and other treats courtesy of the Parent Volunteer Committee, the American College, SGA, NHS, ACAD, Athletics, Cheer, Wawa, BizBox Group, Chick-fil-A, Jason's Deli, Texas Roadhouse, Palm Shores Bistro, Long Doggers, Tropical Smoothie, Jersey Mikes and Sports Clips.



VPK Graduation was a success! They had a clap out in the afternoon and then their ceremony that night. Our little Hawks have left the nest!



Today we had over 20 athletes sign their commitment to further their academic and athletic careers at various colleges. We are so proud of these students and know they will do amazing things!



2025 Prom was a success thanks to our amazing VHS family! Without our chaperones we could not have such a nice evening for our students :)


VHS staff participated in Take Your Child to Work Day! Our PE department put together some fun activities for them and everyone had a blast!



It's Assistant Principal's week! Ms. McFarland is the newest addition to the team and we are so happy to have her at VHS! She is a true team player and exudes positivity everywhere she goes. We appreciate all you do, Ms. McFarland!

It's Assistant Principal's Week! Mr. Hanson ensures that our facilities are top notch and well maintained. He has been instrumental in rolling out the Opengate system, which was a huge undertaking. Thank you for all you do, Mr. Hanson. We appreciate you!!

Our construction class completed their first major build! It took a lot of hard work and perseverance to cut through all the red tape for permitting, but they got the job done! Now our track team has a place to store all their equipment. Thank you to Mr. Owens and the construction students at VHS!!!!!!

Our students had amazing success at the Science Fair! Luke Rodgers and Sophie Schuh took 1st place prizes with bids to the state science fair in March and Aswath Rajesh took a 1st place prize with a bid to the state science fair as well as the international science fair in May!

Our students participated in the Future Educators of America Conference this weekend in Orlando!

Our annual JROTC Ball had a record breaking turnout Saturday night! The cadets enjoyed an evening of inspiration, dining and dancing. They all looked their best and represented VHS well.
